Southern Marsupial Mole (Notoryctes typhlops)
is a species of mole-like marsupial found in the deserts of southern Australia. although they are not moles they bear some resemblance to them as they are highly adapted to a life underground, so well adapted that they lack complete eyes, large shovel forepaws that act as shovels and excellent hearing. Marsupial moles spend most of their lives underground, but not in burrows like moles do, marsupial moles “swim through the sand” as whatever tunnels it makes fill in as the animal moves on. not much is known about their diet but from what is known it seems they are insectivores feeding on insect eggs and earthworms. Although they spend most of their lives underground searching for food they have been known to come to the surface but very rarely, mostly after rain or during cool days.

So, whether I get my med school acceptance in March-ish or not, I will be traveling to Ireland for a long term stay. No more 3 week visits. No more airport goodbyes. It’ll either be for school or with a working visa. Those are the only options I’m giving myself. Because the only time I’m happy these days is when i’m with her. Every other moment I just feel lost.
Not sure why he’s wearing a watch in bed. Or why their hands are above the covers. Maybe it’s not that cold. But it still made me sigh. I miss her so much.
